By alt-world I mean the non-Watopia bots. What I’m going to suggest will solve two issues: people who like to teleport between bots for varying their workout, and people who want a bot to ride with after finishing a ZRace.
My suggestion is to put all the alt-world bots in the same world that the week’s ZRace is in, so someone can hop in and get a cooldown with their preferred post-race bot while staying in the same activity. I just finished this week’s ZRace and thought it could be nice to jump in with Coco if she was here. But there are no bots in Makuri at the moment. Could be an issue in a couple of the smaller worlds but those are so hilly that it’s pretty rare to have a ZRace there.
Occasionally I’ll want to cruise with coco for half an hour after a race. I also will sometimes use coco for a ten minute pre race warmup, it’s not just about the drops.
Some people like to do so is the reason. What’s the reason for teleporting from bot to bot? Just pedal however hard you want to go. What’s the reason for erg workouts? Just pedal how hard you want. Why even have Zwift? Just stare at a wall with your power numbers on your head unit and go as hard as you want
people have expressed interest in doing both. Having the alt world bots randomly scattered around and not even in the guest worlds doesn’t make sense.
I guess it is easier distance, provided the bot isn’t on a hilly course.
I don’t see the point of it, you can ride on your own at an appropriate cool down or warmup pace. For warmup you would not be following the robopacer group speed anyway, you will be doing something entirely different.
Having the bots scattered around different worlds gives the people riding with those a better chance to find one with a route they prefer.
