For the Academy, no. To compete for the pro contract, you have to be 18 as of 1 January 2021.

It says registration for Zwift Academy 2020 opens up Sep 8. But I don’t seem to find the option to enroll either on web on in game. what might I be missing?

Follow the “Learn More” links from Zwift Academy 2022. For instance, The at Home Cycling & Running Virtual Training App. That’s where I was able to register today.
