Seasonal adjustments to racing list

With spring peak users rate have decline, it would make sense to lower the number of Zwift HQ races to improve saturation of each race and promote club races. If we still have 1-2 races every hour, Zwift’s monthly, epic, crit there won’t be much room for anything else.

I think this is a good idea and maybe allow some community races to get a foothold.

I was going to do the Applewood chase race today but it looked empty so i did another race, just had a look to see how many riders were in the race, 15 entrants in total for all pens and only 4 finishers, 3 of them increased their racing score, not much of a chase race as all the finishers were in the same pen, Zwift should of kept this race CE instead of ZRS as 5 minutes power in a 2 hour race does not really come into it, its mostly flat with a one minute climb every lap.
Too many races and not enough riders and when races get down to under 10 riders the large point increases are putting off riders finishing the race which in turn gives the riders that do finish points increases they should not be getting.

I actually think Zwift are trying to kill off the community races.

I would be okay with that if Zwift wanted to take over racing on their platform and develop and refine it but I heard rumor that Zwift had said refining racing and decreasing cheating was going to be too difficult and expensive and would only benefit a small number of prescribers so they were going to focus on the social aspect of things.

I’ve not heard a lot of news about improvements of club functions, group rides etc

Not a clear direction.
