Rider weight as part of Rider name info

You are slandering a lot of folks who really are 60kg in real life and who do put a lot of work into maintaining that.

Watching another rider and dividing watts by w/kg shows weight, until Zwift decides to improve “privacy” and hides watts and w/kg.

I had no problems with kg and height being shown in the old days.

It doesnt mean a thing. All it says is that a rider at one point has been verified and nothing more. They dont have to do it daily to keep the checkmark. After the verification they can change all they want.

The problem with W/kg is that the sample rate of the displayed values is different from the time to display power in Watts. That is, the displayed W/kg doesn’t always sync on a time-basis with the displayed W/kg. For a 75kg rider, it very much can say they are doing 200W while showing them doing 2.66W/kg (correct), 2.3W/kg (you would calculate them at 86kg) or 2.9W/kg (69kg). Only one of those are coincidentally correct. You would have to have a lot of W and W/kg values over a period of time to better approximate a rider’s Zwift weight, and even then, it is still an approximation with better accuracy (not exactness) due to data sample size.

Itys a bit of a shame, it sounds like Zwift has gone backwards in many respects, still the main problem is bottom line revenue and getting the most users and not eliminating the cheats who are after all paying members so better not piss them off.
