This first annual Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift took the cycling world by storm this past summer.

On October 27th, with grand fanfare, the route for the 2023 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift will be announced at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. The route presentation will be broadcast free of charge on letourfemmes.fr October 27 @ 11:30am CET

To celebrate the occasion, we’ve invited three absolute superstars of the women’s WorldTour to ride with us in Zwift.

Join us in our France and Watopia worlds, with your ‘Watch the Femmes’ cap, kit and socks, for these special rides.

RIDE WITH ANNEMIEK VAN VLEUTEN
Annemiek Van Vleuten, of Team Movistar, winner of the inaugural Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift will join a celebratory ride on Oct 26, before she heads to Paris for the big announcement.

In addition to her yellow jersey, Annemiek added a rainbow jersey to her collection when she captured the World Road Championship in September.

RIDE WITH MARIANNE VOS
Marianne Vos, of Team Jumbo Visma, winner of the green jersey and often called the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) for her multi-discipline dominance in cycling, will join us on the day of the route announcement, October 27.

UPDATE October 27: The ride with Anna regrettably is cancelled.
RIDE WITH ANNA VAN DER BREGGEN
Anna is a former World and Olympic Champion who now manages the leading WorldTour squad, Team SD Worx. Anna’s ride will be 30 minutes on Watopia’s Triple Flat Loop course on Oct 28.

I am fully expecting there to be a sing-along with Vos when we hit the first climb.

Last minute circumstances came up and regrettably, Anna is no longer able to lead this ride. Please accept our apologies.

Celebrity led rides are always a bit of a crapshoot. Better that it was cancelled rather than a no-show! My favorite “celebrities” are the ride leaders who reliably show up every week and put on a good show. Much respect to them.

Guess you was on the “Marianne Vos” group ride today ? :wink:

For those who wasn’t, Marianne wasn’t either, showed up sporadic a few times with technical issues ( guess some network problems ).
We had a great ride, but I seems to happen too often on the celebrity rides :thinking:

I managed to grab a screenshot of her avatar hooking my avatar’s bars–she’s usually so nice! :smiley: But it was good of her to stay on the chat when they couldn’t get her connected well enough to ride. It was a bit disappointing, but Vos is nothing but class, I definitely don’t hold it against her.

And the pace picked up when she let everyone know she was out :smiley:

Ohhh :cry: That’s too bad! I hope nothing bad happened to her! Was looking forward to riding alongside her but I understand. Good to know that it can’t happen, so we are informed :slight_smile:

@BooX no I couldn’t it was too early in the afternoon (16h) and I finish work only at that time, no home office today. I was yesterday with Annemiek though :slight_smile:
