Just wondering how I can change the resistance in zwift for a 17% grade it’s too hard for me right now and I keep getting kicked out of the program

Two separate issues here…

  1. You can change your gears to make climbing easier. If your gearing is insufficient, then in the Zwift settings, you can lower the default from 50% to something that will allow for your gearing to be sufficient. Think of this setting as a virtual cassette (gearing). You will still have to do the same amount of work to get up the hill no matter what this setting is set to. Again, virtual cassette!
