I was trying to choose a pace partner it was super confusing to try and figure out which pace partner to choose.
Iāve been meaning to bring this up hereā¦ itās hard to tell what the PPsā ābaselineā pace is now with the new PPs, dynamic pacing, and variation in routes. Not to complain - these are good things, but thereās no way to know if the PP is on a sustained climb or descent and their power is increased/decreased.
You need to select based on the list above, lowest watts to highest.
Daniela will always be the 4th option down in Watopia, even if the names appear out of order due to dynamic pacing.
Needing to either memorize baseline paces for 11 PPs or cross-reference a forum post on an external website is lousy UI/UX.
Also covered loads of times.
Weāll be fixing the UI for PPs later in the summer.
And why havenāt you memorised them yet?!

I canāt remember what I ate for breakfast most days .
As a light rider, i have to say now riding with Brevet is perfect, i can keep up on the climb, work on the flat and get some rest downhill. I still have to put much w/kg than him but i donāt feel like iām racing the ZRL with him, great work !
Logged into Zwift, last night, for the first time in a while to spin the legs after a hard outdoor century on the weekend. It took me 2 attempts to join Denise using AppleTV. The first just dropped me in Makuri but the second worked as expected.
I also experience the invisible wall at the transition to dirt going back to the tunnel to Neokyo. Just checked and the app is on version 1.25.2.
Love the new PPs. However, it is very difficult being an Android tablet user who wants to jump in and out of different PP rides. When I end a ride and save (or delete) it, I am kicked out back to the initial pairing screen and must re-pair to get back into the home screen to select a ride. Any plans to offer the āReturn to Homeā feature for Android and iOS?
The new home screen is being rolled out and will solve this (I assume).
That would be great. Thoughts on timing?
The rollout is in process now, it is a slow process however and will likely take a few months before all users have access to it on android and ios.
Thankyou for the running partners james, So awesome to have more options and having them all on a running route seems like a great idea. There are many runners excited about these additions and are hoping to make more use of them, including me Iām also really excited for the pacers up the alp, I can see them being very popular! Its great to see the pacers evolving and improving.
Specific Q for Wahoo Kickr bike owners - it appears that the gradient info is not being sent to Kickr bikes during PP rides. Is there any way to address this? It is fun/more realistic to feel the gradient change, and it helps you to adjust your effort in a timely fashion without having to vigilantly watch the gradient on screen.
A PP ride is literally just an event, but with a PP leader. There is no other difference in config.
I have completed PP Alpe event with Wahoo Kickr Bike without any issues - resistance and tilt on gradients worked perfectly I have trainer difficulty set to 100%.
