Would it be possible to have the option to warm up on a virtual trainer before riding a route, similar to what happens before a race or group ride? Maybe allow the rider to warm up for 5, 10 or 15 minutes before releasing them onto the set route? I’ve noticed a lot of routes, in particular those on the New York map, have you climbing quite soon after the route starts and it just doesn’t feel right. The same could be done for warming down at the end of a ride - instead of quitting and saving you could opt to go to the virtual trainer for a set amount of time. That way the warm up and warm down are all part of the same ride/ activity.
