Big power difference between two sources

I’m with you on this. I just created an account and bought a license with Ecro thinking the verification process would include weight and height video, trainer check etc… But no. Hell, now that I know my trainer is inaccurate, I think they should exclude me from participating. Lol!

Ok….90% accuracy would exclude 2/3 of zwift population

Enjoy it for what it is :slightly_smiling_face:
It is a great training platform and the events are fun. When racing, we give it all.

Where we rank in the race might not be accurate, but there are no rewards anyways

Use the equipment that you have.

I always race and compare myself to my former self and I only use the other Zwifters as motivation to beat my previous score or time
I don’t know if they are cheating or if their trainer is accurate or if they upgraded their Zwift bike by the same methods I do.
I don’t care if they have a heart rate monitor.

If they are ahead, I try to catch, if I’m with them, I try to hang on and draft.

My reason for trying to have the most accurate trainer is so I can compare my indoor to outdoor rides.

That never worked before.
Partly because of better cooling outside but also there was road obstacles and my trainer owner never seemed to match outside.

Now, I think I have fixed the measurement issues and now I’m doing the same Zwift workouts outdoors on a smooth remote road so I should be able to measure any progress.

Quick update : I have used a small fan directed at the hub on the trainer opposite to the cassette (where the electronics are). It seems to alleviate the problem. See the image below of today’s race compare to the two above. It it still not perfect but I can probably make the fan more efficient.
