I am a national-level competitive cyclist, with 3x National Titles and 7x Regional Titles to my name so far. I am a British Cycling Category 1 Road and Track Racer, achieving my Cat. 1 licence within 6 months of my first race as a first-year junior (17 years old).
I am currently the best National Cat. 1 Road and Track Racer in the UK, ranked 1st overall in the British Cycling points-rankings, ahead of riders representing the likes of Canyon Eisberg, Madison Genesis and JLT Condor. I finished 3rd overall in the British Cycling National Men’s Hard Track Endurance League, racing against the best male endurance riders in the country. In 2018, to mid-August I have achieved 25 race wins and 48 podiums.
I have been a member of Zwift since Autumn 2015, and have supported two charity teams both in-game and in-real-life since: The dZi Foundation and World Bicycle Relief. In both cases, I have seen the awareness and support for both charities blossom over the last couple of years.
My website (www.chrisdurham.me) documents my racing, training and more. I write articles that stimulate thought and discussion amongst the cycling community worldwide by sharing my knowledge and experience of cycling, and answer cycling-related questions that may not have been answered before e.g. “Power Meters vs. Smart Trainers - Which is better?” and “Has Zwift Racing Made Workouts Redundant?”
Hopefully we’ll bump into each on Zwift soon. Ride on
