ZwiftPower Dual Analysis – Power Sources List Cannot Be Reset

Hello ZwiftPower team,

I am having a problem with the Power Sources list in ZwiftPower Dual Analysis.

I currently have 10 old/duplicated power source names saved in the section:

“Power sources (for quick assignment of names to uploads)”

I would like to clean this list and keep only my current devices:

  • Wahoo KICKR V5
  • Favero Assioma Duo

However, the Save List button does not save any changes.

I have tested several things:

  • Deleting the text from a field
  • Replacing the text with “-”
  • Replacing one entry with a completely different word (“TEST”)

After pressing Save List and refreshing the page, all 10 original entries return exactly as before.

Could you please tell me if it is possible to reset or clear my saved Power Sources list, or reset it for my account?

I also understand that ZwiftPower is now end-of-life and that a replacement is being developed under Zwift.com.

I use Dual Analysis regularly to compare my Favero Assioma Duo power meter with my Wahoo KICKR, so I would also like to know:

Will Dual Analysis, including comparison of two FIT files and power sources, be available in the new Zwift.com racing platform that replaces ZwiftPower?

This is a very useful feature for validating power meter and smart trainer accuracy.

I would expect the ability to do dual power analysis on the new site to be possible.

I wouldn’t expect any updates to functionality on ZwiftPower at this stage.

Do you know whether bringing Dual Power Analysis / dual recording to the new platform is currently a priority for the Zwift team?

For riders and race organizers who use a secondary power source to validate race performances, this is one of the most important ZwiftPower features.

It would be great to know whether this functionality is planned as a core feature of the new platform, even if there is no estimated release date yet.

It’s not a priority. It should still be included.

They can and do talk to us directly.

I genuinely have no idea. I would expect adaptations to be needed.

Continued functionality of third party tools will be 100% up to the developer of the app to make use of whatever data is available. Anything using the ZwiftPower API or scraping from ZwiftPower is certainly going to break and need some rewriting when ZwiftPower goes away.
