Zwift Ride Tension arm issues

I have my new Zwift Ride installed with NDS Cap and 12X142mm thru axle provided by Zwift on my Tacx Neo 2T. I’m using a Zwift COG for Tacx. If I stop peddling the tension arm drops out totally. The tension spring resists the arm snapping to the ‘off’ or down postion until about 80 degree from fully up, and at the point the tension arm snaps downward. It’s as if the spring gives up fighting the downward motion and lets the chain go totally slack. I have to use my foot or get off the trainer to lift it back to ‘tight’ position. AI reports that Zwift had some of the tension assemblies made with the springs installed with out pre-loading the tension properly. AI also reports that it is a know warranty issue and if reported they will ship out a new tension arm assembly with the spring pre-clocked properly (1 full twist clockwise) which will kept the tension arm from unloading the chain if you stop pedaling or back pedal a slight amount. Very annoying as the Zwift Ride I have is a big paper weight at the moment. I did find if I tape a small block of wood under the arm to keep it from going too low I can pedal forward, stop, and back pedal. Has anyone else had this issue?

Can you tell if there is unwanted resistance in the freehub? Like if you take the bike off the trainer and spin the Cog backwards, does it move freely? If not, that will certainly cause chain sag and downward force on the tensioner. I would check that before talking to support but if the tensioner is faulty they will likely send you a replacement frame.

Case can be closed. Installing the end cap !2 DS into the COG and screwing in, now provides the space to prevent the pass thru acle binding the COG against the trainer.
