I received the zwift ride and hooked it up on the Zwift Hub One. (The Zwift Hub One is 6 months or so, so I plan on selling the kickr core without opening the box).

However… the chain makes a rattling noice. On the zwift cog I believe.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
Is the cog version 2 required?

Thanks for the feedback…

I don’t know for sure, but that could be the issue if the new Cog is a different size? Is it possible to install the new cog and try without opening the Kickr box?

The new cog is in the kickr box, so i hope someone knows which configuration is required for the zwift hub one.

Does anybody know if the cog version 2 is required for proper installation of the Zwift Ride on the Zwift Hub One?

I solved the rattle by 2 steps:

1. I added a hub body ring to create some extra space inside the cog (1mm).
2. I replaced the chain that comes with the Zift ride for a thinner (shimano) version.

After holiday I will replace the chain altogether for a CDX beltdrive.

Looking forward to hearing about how your hacking goes. Please post when you have anything to share. 👍

So, did you sell the Kickr Core that the Ride came with? And/or why keep the Hub One and not the new trainer that the Ride shipped with?
