I setup the whole system very easily, and got to the point of connecting to our wifi and got a ‘NO!’.
Our security is set for WPA3 Personal with a long password (I cut and pasted it from the passwords app into the setup page for the Core wifi), and we have had issues of a small fraction of devices that do not support that protocol. I’m wondering if the Core 2 does not support it. I have a ticket in at Wahoo and haven’t heard if it does or not. I assume the answer is no which I feel is an oversight, but I also asked if it ever will, and that might be the big question.
So, a reality check: Does the Core 2 support WPA3 Personal for users that might read this post? I mean, if so, the idea of having wifi, as seductive as it is, is useless to me and anyone else using that protocol. (We tend to take network security more seriously than the average person, so yeah, whatever)
Disappointed, but Bluetooth still works. I imagine the benefit of a wifi connection is faster and more stable comms. Always a winner…
