Zwift Ride Controller Haptic Feedback Issues

Hello! I have a Zwift Ride Frame with a Wahoo Core 2. I’m really happy with it.

However, there’s one thing: No matter which free ride I’m doing, the Zwift controller on the handlebars often vibrates for no apparent reason. It lasts about 10 to 15 seconds and then stops. During 30-minute rides, this happens about 3 to 6 times.

Haptic feedback is enabled in the settings and works fine during Ride On, shifting, etc. It just happens occasionally for no apparent reason. What could it be? I’ve already thought about riding over a bridge, potholes on a rough road, etc.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance

10-15 seconds is a long time. You should probably talk to support to understand if the controls are faulty.

Hi Paul, thanks a lot. I’ll ask the support about it. Although the controllers do work ok.

I would have assumed it was a feature and not a bug.

It’s more noticeable in the first 30% of a ride. I noticed it on certain wooden bridges in Watopia.

I think the Zwift game is trying to tell me something, but I just can’t figure it out.

… Next time I ride, I’ll record the times when it vibrates for no reason. I use Zwift on my MacBook Pro, so I’ll check the Log.txt file to see if there’s any info. There were quite a few error messages from yesterday.
