Zwift Ride Axel/Frame Damage

Hey everyone,
I’m dealing with an issue on my new Zwift Ride setup. The thru axle won’t thread properly on the non-drive side, making it impossible to mount the bike frame securely on the trainer. The axle goes through, but it doesn’t catch the threads right and can’t be tightened properly, which obviously isn’t intentional.

Visually, the axle looks like the first few threads are damaged or “worn off,” something other users have reported with their Zwift thru axles. I don’t want to mess with it myself (e.g., chasing threads with a die) to avoid voiding warranty or return options. On Reddit, I’ve come across several identical or very similar cases where it seems the frame dropouts were the actual issue, not the thru axle itself.

• Have you had a similar issue with a defective or poorly threaded thru axle on Zwift hardware?

• What was the best fix for you – axle replacement, frame replacement or full return? What was the response by Zwift?

Regarding support/ticket:
• I’ve already emailed Zwift support and created a ticket, but no response yet – not even an automated confirmation like “Your case has been received.” Which worries me a bit… (is that normal?)

• How long did you wait in practice for a first response from Zwift support (especially for hardware/axle issues)
