Zwift not receiving speed from Bowflew 326 treadmill

Ive been walking/ running on my Bowflew 326 treadmill for a few years now with no issues. Recently my Zwift avatar has been just sitting on the starting line with a connection failure warning in the box. I have tried disconnecting everything from my treadmill, reinstalling Zwift, restarting my treadmill, and used the Bowflex JRNY App to verify that the treadmill is connecting (via Bluetooth) to the App and relaying the correct speed to the App. Yet even after all that Zwift still will not connect as it did just a few weeks ago. If anyone has any information on what i need to do to get my treadmill and zwift communicating again id appreciate it.

Hi @Duncan_Lorence, welcome to the Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.

I can see from yesterday’s logs that your Bowflex T326 was throwing a few BLE disconnect errors. That usually means the devices are detected, but the signal strength is weak, or interference is breaking the connection. You can check out this article for tips: BLE and ANT+ Interference Troubleshooting.

Since you mentioned it was working fine before, it’s possible the treadmill was broadcasting speed in a way Zwift could read, but now the signal isn’t coming through.

If your avatar still isn’t moving, the most reliable option is to add a footpod (like Zwift RunPod or Stryd) or a treadmill sensor (like the NPE Runn). These devices measure speed and cadence directly, ensuring your avatar moves every time.

Thanks for posting.

Ride On.

Note the “Not moving in game” document Francisco shared is mostly irrelevant to you since it applies primarily to cycling and not running.
