Zwift Needs Jersey and Climb Portal Progress Tracking

I’m back with another feature request! :joy:

I’d love to see Zwift add progress dashboards for leaderboard jerseys and Climb Portal completions, similar to what we already have for route badges.

The route badge page was a major source of motivation when I started Zwifting because I could easily see what I had completed, and more importantly, what was left! The bonus XP for routes was an extra carrot to help me level up and pursue reaching level 100. Now that I have almost all of the route/bonus badges done, I have started working on collecting all of the jerseys and completing all of the Climb Portal climbs.

The problem is that there is no good way to track either one! I currently have to make my own spreadsheet.

For jerseys, I would love to see a dashboard organized by world showing total jerseys and earned jerseys. You could view each world and see the individual route, sprint, KQOM, and special jerseys you have earned.

Climb Portal could work the same way, but with progress at each difficulty for 50%, 75%, 100%, and 125%.

Each climb could have a badge with an outer ring showing the highest difficulty completed, while the main dashboard shows overall progress at each level.

I also think these would be good places to add additional rewards. Zwift now allows us to level beyond 100, but there are no more equipment unlocks after that, just the 50,000 Drops bonus at each level.

Bonus XP and Drops for completing jersey or Climb Portal milestones would be nice, but unique unlocks would make them much more interesting. Unique kits or special items (like the aero socks) would be a major motivator. Completing every Climb Portal at 100% or 125% could even unlock a special climbing frame, similar to the climbing bike idea I suggested in another post.

The climbs and jerseys already exist. Zwift just needs to give us a way to track them and a little more incentive to complete them.

I would much rather see this built into Zwift or Companion than keep maintaining a spreadsheet. Is anyone else interested in jerseys and/or climb portal?

Huge yes for me with the climb portal tracking.

I think the issue with leaderboard jerseys is that they’re not achievable for most people.

I’m never going to outsprint nor outclimb them.

And that’s the same for 99.9% of Zwift users.

I wish the races awarded green jerseys.

That’s understandable. It seems like the Climb Portal page would be a better place to focus those efforts, since more people would have access to the achievements.

Some official tracking functionality on the Alpe du Zwift badges would be good too. I logged my 25th ascent yesterday (and if I drill into the segment details via the Routes option in the companion app there are 25 ascents recorded) but did not get my Masochist badge. First world problem I guess but I was not happy as I’ve only got this, the Climb Portal Pro (25x) and “working from home” left to complete the full set, after driving myself insane ticking off the new Paris routes, which bar the roundabout torture all look the same!

More positively, the badge for 10 climb portal ascents was awarded last week as expected.

If I remember correctly, the Masochist badge was not awarded for me until the next time I logged into Zwift after completing my 25th Alpe ascent.
Same with the Working from home badge - the next time I logged into Zwift, the badge banner showed up right after I chose the route to ride.

Thanks! I’ve sworn extensively at Zwift since its latest misdemeanour but haven’t logged in again so I’ll give that a try!

Great idea on the Climb Portal Progress and long overdue. The Jersey Progress, I’m not so sure as a person riding on an empty world would be able to get all jerseys.Nice design interface BTW :+1:

Happy days. I have the badge!
