Zwift Launches Microgrant Program [January 2023]

Zwift, the global online fitness platform for cyclists and runners, recognizes the importance of supporting our global community and the organizations they’re passionate about. To help non-profits work toward their missions, Zwift has launched a new microgrant program.

Called Zwift Microgrants, this new program will allow Zwift to expand support for organizations and causes that are important to our Zwift community, and aligned with our mission.

Starting in 2023, Zwift will award five $5,000 grants to qualifying organizations aligned with our social impact mission, and will also provide each grantee as many as twenty complimentary Zwift accounts.

“Zwift’s work to foster and support a diverse community on our virtual worlds is what truly sets us apart from all other fitness platforms,” said Eric Min, Zwift Co-Founder and Co-CEO, “We’re excited to support organizations engaged in the same work by offering these five grants to organizations that align with our missions and we look forward to see the positive impact that will result.”

Microgrants will be awarded to registered non-profit organizations that are aligned with one or all of Zwift’s social impact pillars: fitness and technology, health and wellness, and community. Applications will be reviewed by our People, Growth, and Impact team.

Organizations must be registered as a 501(c)(3) in the United States, recognized by the High Court’s charity law jurisdiction in the United Kingdom, or have a certificate of social assistance charity entity (CEBAS) in Brazil to be considered for the Microgrant program. Qualifying organizations can apply by February 26, 2023. Grantees will be notified in March. For more information on how to apply for Zwift Cares grants, please visit this site.
