Welcome to the forums. This is Haziel from Zwift Support. I understand that after switching to the Zwift Cog, you were hoping for a smoother virtual shifting experience, but are encountering some rubbing issues with the hub casing.
Here are a few suggestions that have been helpful for others in similar situations:
-
Check Cog seating: Make sure the Zwift Cog is fully flush against the freehub body. If the lockring isn’t tightened evenly, the Cog can sit slightly off‑axis and cause rubbing.
-
Re‑balance the pulley wheel: I will share this article, Re-balancing the Zwift Hub Pulley Wheel, which has information that might be of help.
If reseating and re‑balancing don’t solve it, please feel free to contact us.
How hard should I have to push the pulley wheel to move it?
I took the quick release axle out but it doesn’t seem to want to move at all.
