My Zwift Hub has developed a grinding noise while pedaling that will occasionally cause the free hub to entirely lock up especially when dropping cadence. It happens under load and when I stop pedaling it will grind to a stop instead of freewheeling. When it locks I have to spin the free hub backward and rock it to get it moving again. I have about 10,000 km on the trainer and it is out of warranty so hoping for some advice on how to troubleshoot or fix. Have not found anything from Zwift support. I have a video but not sure how to share it here.

The only component of the trainer available from Zwift is the freehub body (included in the Cog and Click upgrade kit). Belts and bearings are industry standard parts so it’s usually possible to source those. I haven’t seen any guides about disassembly and servicing of that trainer. If the problem is the freehub, that is easily replaced.
