Zwift Games [March 2025]

Replaced by Better ? i am in shock at the word better there.

Maybe I should have said:

“I HOPE that ZwiftPower will be replaced by something better on the main Zwift website … one day …”

I’m sure that’s the plan. But I can understand why some would be sceptical.

Stage 3 of 5 has begun.

Still no sign of filters in the crude Zwift Games table for at least England; Scotland; Northern Ireland; Wales; Zwifterland (all options for Companion app profile).

Still no filter for men, who more than likely for many, will be heavier than women and more likely to be slower uphill.

Racing Score filter bands are still 99/100, but don’t match up with the two ranges available for non-elite racers.

Racing Score shown in table still doesn’t match current Racing Scores for racers.

Racers are still being allowed to enter a pen higher than their Racing Score, possibly enabling them to finish stages quicker, but definitely allowing them to reduce Racing Score increases or even tank their Racing Score towards their floor.

There’s still no accountability for those not registered Zwiftpower, making sure their weight; height; age (which limits minimum height and weight for those ages 16+ iirc) aren’t changing wildly between races.

This is a shambles, especially when Zwift Games is supposed to be the biggest ZwiftHQ racing event of the year and it’s not the first running of the event.

Well, I am really disappointed with Zwift app again. Checked Companion app for Stage 2 taking a place from March 7th till 10th. Seeing others images in this thread, I’d say Zwift devs work only from one timezone. I get it timezones are hard.

Sorry if I’m missing your point but Stage 2 has finished now and Stage 3 is under way, with events taking place every hour.

I think the issue is, at what time on March 10th does the stage end and stage 3 begin… it is March 10th for 24 hours… but Zwift has the stages ending and starting on the same day… so when exactly does it switch over to the next stage?

Thanks Mike, that makes sense.

Looking back at Zwiftpower results, it seems that the switchover happened after midnight UTC. So there was a Stage 2 race at midnight UTC, and then Stage 3 at 01:00 UTC. Which is a bit weird - technically there was Stage 2 on 10 March, but only at midnight at the very start of that day in UTC, then it switched to Stage 3.

clear as mud as always

As Mike wrote, it is not clear when it switches to the next stage. Originally, I only checked the dates, not the actual events, and this morning (CET), there were no Stage 2 events anymore. So, unfortunately, I missed Stage 2.

There is a make-up week at the end, so you’ll still have a chance to do Stage 2.

The sudden jerking of the riders (twice) and riding through curbs on the Hilly KOM Bypass is probably something that should have been worked out prior to this stage for a high visibility event.

I just now got a reply from the 4th Tech Support Specialist at Zwift with no resolution so far.

Two friends in the 8:10pm EDT Stage 5 race tonight did not receive credit for the stage in Zwift however results do show up in Zwift Power and their time shows up in the Zwift Games GC.

Anybody else experience this issue?
