Thanks Paul, i figured it out, had to delete zwift companion from both my ipad & iphone and reinstall it. That fixed it!
ZCA works better now than before

For me the companion app connectivity issue was only solved when I realized that one of my fans was interfering with the ant plus and Bluetooth. I was having a lot of dropouts and the companion app would not connect until I moved one specific fan made by vornado out of the room at that point the dropouts stopped nearly completely and the companion app works perfectly
