Thanks john.

Yes. I’m having issues with battery life too. I have the Zwift Click V2. First set of batteries went dead after two weeks. I installed another pair. The dead batteries measured 2.3 volts the new ones measured 3.3 volts. After two weeks (less than 5 hours of riding) the left controller (down shift) battery was dead. I replaced that battery. We’ll see how long it lasts. I connect with an older laptop computer that I had laying around. Every time I complete a ride, I turn off Bluetooth on the computer. The click controllers should go into sleep mode when BT disconnects. We’ll see how long the battery lasts. If it still dies with no BT connection, then the controller is not going to sleep and I will ask for a replacement. It’d be great if Zwift developed a V3 with a USB-C rechargeable battery.

I have been having very short battery life as well. I just got the v2 clicks on January because my original single click stopped working after only 2 years so I’m already a bit salty about that. In 2 months I’ve had to replace one of the batteries once and the other one twice. It’s a bummer to head down to my basement for a workout and find one dead. Then instead of riding I have to fiddle with a tiny screwdriver. The screws are so tight I also fear I may completely strip the heads after a few changes. If the battery life is so short it would be nice if they were designed to snap open easily for battery changes.
