Zwift click v 2: fixed pair?

Good morning

The zwift click 2 comes in 2 parts. My question will sound a bit stupid but if I have 2 sets of clicks, can I mixed them or each set can only work with the other piece that was in the box?

To make sure my question is clear:

  • Box 1: Left Click 1A, Right Click 1B

    Box 2: Left Click 2A, Right Click 2B

Let’s say Click 1A cannot be used, can I use on my bike the click 2A paired with the click 1B

I know my question sound strange but I am trying to understand why have so much problem connecting my clicks lately (I have 2 pairs).
