Zwift Click does not change gears

Sadly, my brand new Zwift Click does not want to gear up. Despite updated firmware on all gear it does not like gearing up. When i go into game it does show gears and i can downshift but no way i can gear up. Also, despite dropping gears the resistance of the hub does not change.

Same problem with my Zwift Click

I contacted Zwift support and they are sending me a new one. See if that is going to fix it

I’m having the same problem and it’s super frustrating. How long did it take for them to send you a new one?

I started with this issue, it seemed to fix itself and the Click works ok for a bit but then will randomly jump to gear 24.

Anyone else experienced this and managed to resolve it?

Pretty quickly to be honest. I reported end of last week and got it on Tuesday. Still to try it out. Been busy. Curious if it works

I am having This problem with my new Zwift hub. Very frustrating. Worked ok for first two days. Then worked intermittently, sometimes refusing to change gears, other times suddenly changing up five or six gears. - usually when I was on a hill. Now it connects but won’t change gear at all. Very much spoiled my Zwift experience. Someone from support did get in touch on Friday by email but appears not to work weekends.

I’m now having the same problem and have had a Zwift click replacement shipped to me. Even the replacement won’t work and now I’m upset! Reaching back out to support… Any guidance would be great!

Hi everyone. It’s Juan here from Zwift. Thanks for sharing your concerns on this space, which is yours. Many causes could have triggered not to shift the gears. Here you have the best practices.

  1. Issues with Bluethooth connections are complex and often difficult to pin down. BLE signal is easy to disrupt, though some causes are far more common than others. For example, the most common cause of this issue is “Diverted Pairing” which is when your device is pairing to another app or another device (like your phone or computer directly) instead of just the Zwift app. I encourage you to take a look at this article to rule out the possible causes you could fit in.

  2. Please double-check that the steering feature is enable in the game settings.

  3. Also, you can review this support article to check if you are no missing any details about it.

If the issue persists, please contact our Support team They will be delighted to help you. .
