Hello!
Does anyone know if the Cog following the Zwift Bike is compatible with the Elite Suito-T trainer? Or do I have to buy a separate Elite Cog?
Hello!
Does anyone know if the Cog following the Zwift Bike is compatible with the Elite Suito-T trainer? Or do I have to buy a separate Elite Cog?
It will work, but the larger Elite specific cog helps if you need to ride at very low wattage. So it depends on how you use it.
You can also buy a third party single speed conversion kit which would be less expensive and offer more cog size options. The cog that comes with the Ride frame has 14 teeth. The Elite cog has 18 teeth.
Thank you for your question. This is Haziel from Zwift. Please be aware that the Zwift Cog is compatible with the Elite Suito-T trainer. However, to ensure everything works perfectly, you’ll want to use the Zwift ELITE Cog and Click (no-freehub version) for the installation.
You’ll need to remove the current cassette and replace it with the Zwift Cog. If you’re looking for a detailed guide, Elite has some really helpful installation videos that can walk you through the process. You can find them at this link from Elite.

I think the root question, is can Zwift make available selling the Zwift Ride (frame only) with an Elite version of the COG, if the buyer has an Elite trainer?
You may be able to sent a request to Zwift support about this - I know they made accommodations for those who wanted the cog v2 when the v1 was the one that came with the kit… maybe they’ll do something similar?
