Worst thing ever happened to me - I was a mile away from markuri pretzel being done (48 miles) and I went to give a ride on to a person in front of me but there was a turning change option and my finger accidentally did the arrow and switched and I never got credit for the route or the XP! UGGGH!!
Somewhere there is a request for “route lock” to prevent this from happening.

it has never been implemented, so just vote for the topic in the thread I linked and maybe @Paul_Southworth will merge these threads to keep giving it visibility.
You may be able to email support@zwift.com and ask that they credit the route to you.
No promises, but if you were that close, they may grant it.

Just do the route again i would as it would just be another challenge 
James can you put me back into D Cat i was put into C Cat when my trainer was giving off weird power readings since had the trainer fixed but any race i enter I’m in the wrong categorie. thanks

It’s not as simple as just putting you into Cat D as there’s a couple of things they need to check/try.
