I have noticed that when I choose a workout of any kind, it gave me options for routes from short to long within the workout time limit or the workout templet distance. I just wondering if I choose a short-distance route option which means that I will be doing that route until the workout is finished or the chosen route will be the total distance set for the workout at that point. Am asking, because am doing a century ride next week and I want to make sure am working zwift correctly.

If you choose a short loop you will do the loop multiple times until your workout is done and even if your workout is done you can still continue to rider the loop.
There are a few routes that are not loops, for those you will finish the route and then randomly continue riding.
