Windows app connection failure after latest update

Updated to the latest version of the Zwift app on Windows last night (2025-12-18 ~20:40 CET).

Entered a race, and got Connection failure 7 or 8 times. When that happened, everyone disappeared (both character and list on the right), and I lose all draft almost instantly.

I noticed that it happened mostly (if not exclusively) after either sending a chat message or giving kudos. I can’t remember the first occurrence yesterday, but the other 6-7 times was after an «online» input.

I have never had network issues with Zwift before, and have been riding for about 41 hours.

Edit: I would like to add that I rode the day before using the same device, so the update cannot be more than a day old.

This issue is most likely at your end. Try rebooting your network equipment (router etc) for starters.

I reviewed your log files from yesterday and noticed two events flagged under connectivity alerts, indicating that the Zwift server disconnected from your Windows device. I also checked our Zwift Status page, and everything looked operational at the time.
