What is the exact spec for the Zwift Ride thru axle?

Hi, I see that the Zwift Ride uses a 142 mm thru axle. I was wondering about the exact spec:

  • 12 mm axle diameter, I assume?
  • 1.5 thread pitch?
  • Flat head or cone head?
  • Nut to end length?

I would like to be able to order a spare axle and so need to know the exact spec to order.

Thanks for any info!

Hi @Gwydion
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I measured my axle for you, this is not an “official” spec.

The Zwift Ride thru-axle uses the Syntace axle spec, which are distinguished by:

  • 12mm x M1.0 thread
  • Beveled bolt head - I think what you called “cone head?”

Additionally:
170 mm total length including the thickness of the bolt head.
165 mm if measuring only the 12 mm shaft.
