WebGL version of Zwift

I hope there are at least one dev that is familiar and has done some demo’s of some parts of Zwift on WebGL to compare how the well the web version would do compared to the PC version.

This may allow more platforms and not have to do the 600 meg download to start the game or update it.

It may also allow us to use tablet computers and mobile devices without having an expensive gaming PC or high end mac.

You’ll want to look at Emscripten then. You can directly port OpenGL code to WebGL using its tools and API.

“Emscripten is an LLVM -based project that compiles C and C++ into highly-optimizable JavaScript in asm.js format. This lets you run C and C++ on the web at near-native speed, without plugins.”
