Would be nice if we start a course to do a warm up before a race, then if we join a race directly from that course, that we got returned to pick up where we left off, at the same KM marker so that we might be able to complete certain courses in our warm down.
Real talk: when did “warm down” replace “cool down” as a term?

I think that this would end up resulting in three separate rides, due to changes in time and place, thereby negating the ability to complete the route (since it has to be done in a single ride). So I don’t think something like you are suggesting would be possible.
