I find sprints and segments motivating to track my best efforts. However, I’m most interested in my w/kg improvements rather than time, as time is usually dependent on whether or not I pick up a draft and how good that draft is. This enhancement would make segment times/records more relevant and motivating to instantly see how my fitness is progressing over different durations.
… but for sprint segments you should be doing a good chunk of your hard work before the segment even starts to get up to speed.
It’s probably easiest to get the sort of analysis you want by linking your Zwift account to intervals.icu (via Strava)
Then you can look at how your power numbers for any and all durations are (hopefully!) improving across weeks, months and years however you like.
