my Kickr is more then 6 ft away from my laptop, can I use a 2.0 Extension usb cable or should I use a 3.0 usb cable? Thank you in advance.

The USB 3.0 would offer a faster speed as it relates to the reading/transferring of your data, but the USB 2.0 will work. so it’s totally up to you.
