uploading fit files to Zwift manually

yesterday zwift wasn’t able to properly safe my ride so i now manually uploaded it to strava from documents. it isnt showed on my zwift feed however and neither do i now have benchmarks for the next time im riding hilly route nor did i gain any lvl points. so i’m wondering if there is any way to upload my fit.file from documents to my zwift dashboard

Hi. I, too, would like to be able to upload a .fit file saved on my iPhone to Zwift. Per this discussion – https://support.zwift.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/251254683-Zwift-IOS-App-Failing-On-Save-Loses-All-Ride-Data?page=1#community_comment_115000186546 – it is possible to salvage a Zwift .fit file on the iPhone when the ride isn’t saved by the app or uploaded to Zwift .com. (Apparently because of an internet connectivity issue.) I am  able to upload the file to Strava. (This is the lost ride. https://www.strava.com/activities/833142351 ) Seems like you should be able to add them to Zwift, too.

+1 on this … or to be able to reprocess a ride flagged as “partial” in my Zwift Activity (as happened on 2nd / 3rd Jan when Zwift experienced issues with the service. Ride from 2nd Jan is 90% complete but don’t believe LVL points have been added or Climb Feet has been recorded against Climb Everest challenge.

Hi, I too have this issue. 22miles in, zwift crashed on my IPad, I managed to find the .fit file and loaded that in to Strava, but the activity does not show on my zwift…how can I add this Information…Help !!!

Currently I don’t Think it is possible to load the ride back to ZWIFT. You can upload to third party apps (ie. Strava and Garmin connect) so you have it for analysis.

I submitted a customer support ticket on this issue and received this reply from Zwift:

I’m afraid that the feature to manually upload rides to the Zwift dashboard isn’t available just yet. This has been highly requested so we’re exploring options for getting it added. For now, .fit files can only be added to third-party fitness sites like Strava and Training Peaks.

Not the answer we’re looking for, exactly, but it sounds like Zwift is working on it.

I’m also looking into this option of uploading FIT files into zwift.

Same here, my ride from this morning didn’t save to Zwift (and therefore not to Strava). I copied the .fit file from my phone and uploaded to Strave without a problem, so no corruption issues. Just a pity it is not on Zwift now as I am busy withh a 6-week program and would like to have all the days represented for comparisons in a year when I redo it. Guess I will cycle it again tomorrow!!

+1

Has this feature been implemented? I have a Zwift Academy ride that was completed but not uploaded. Is there a way to submit that for at least academy ride credit.
