Training Plans combined with extra rides

Sorry if this question is in the wrong group, it’s my first post. If I sign up to do the ‘Back to Fitness’ 12 week plan which has two rides a week can I do those rides during the week and then do an extra training ride outside the plan that is a little longer on the weekend without screwing up my plan progress?

More riding will not hurt your progress unless your going from 30 hours to 50 hours a week :wink:

Ha ha no not 30 to 50 hour but the 2 rides of that program are perfect for time available during the week so an extra ride on the weekend would be nice I just don’t want it to screw up the plan.
