Trainer vs power meter pedals - significant power difference

Is that a KICKR CORE?

No, a KickrV6.
I had a V5 that was within a watt or two of the pedals, but after a while power drifted in both directions. Wahoo ran a remote test on it, and found that something had failed. They sent a V6 to replace it.
The V6 varies somewhat, not a lot, but I like to have consistency with outdoor riding, and I also use power balance as a measure of fatigue. Before I realize that I need a rest week, my balance drifts quite a bit.

Thanks. That’s good to know. My new KICKR v6 matches my new Assioma pedals very well presently. I’ll do regular dual-recording to keep an eye on things.

I have kickr core and zwift ride since a year back. Kickr core have always read about 5% more then my assioma duo. But since december, maybe november even, after starting to implment high torque and sprint training its more like 10-20% off. At the moment i have no other watt source to compare with but im pretty sure i didnt have an FTP increase of 30w in just 2 weeks.

Latest firmware on trainer.

Easier said than done to torque power pedals with a pedal wrench :man_shrugging:
