Hi Sofia. Yes, I did Chasing the Sun with them this afternoon and got the TdZ credit.
In order to qualify for the Ultra Challenge (18 routes completed), you do not have to complete any Group Ride or Race in any of the Stages, correct? (So it is sufficient to complete the 6x3 routes as Free Ride, right?)
You are right, u just need to complete the 18 routes, no matter if racing or free riding.
Thanks, appreciated!
Anyone know of any bugs related to the Coffee Break in TdZ? Got to a climb in today’s stage and everyone around me started sipping lattes (which is fine, I support it). But when I looked in my menu, my coffee icon was greyed out and not available (at 31’ into the ride, so it should have been there).
It also never showed up for the remainder of the ride.
I’m not sure there has been an explanation for it, but this seems like a common complaint from people. It just seems to randomly not work, I don’t use it very often so I’ve never experienced any issues with coffee stop.
I ment to edit but deleted. Strange things I have seen is riders on coffee break and them still pedalling getting drops. I think its because they are able to maintain a very low wattage without tripping the drop stop limit
If you bring up the action bar in the game (not in Companion) and you click on the grayed out coffee icon, it should tell you how long you have to wait before it’s available (assuming you are near someone so it could be activated). What does that look like for you?
I do this whenever I finish a RoboPacer ride. Saves me cooling down solo. ![]()
mine was showing the icon until I think I turned onto the gravel path and it greyed out (standard ride). I assumed I was too close to the finish (final ascent).
did s1 Standard with a Scott Addict selected, but it appeared a Zwift Steel was defaulted in the actual ride. That is fine, except I did not get credit for the miles. Fresh Outta also defaulted to Zwift Steel, but I got credit for distance … I am level 100 and have earned all the route badges and performance awards, except the frame upgrades, so the frame upgrades are an extra incentive. is the only bonus the speed/xp for an already upgraded base Zwift bike? I frankly have not bothered selecting the three Zwift bikes needed to upgrade the Tron because many events default anyway, so by default I’ll eventually complete all 15 levels (3 bikes x 5 levels each). Am I the only one that noticed and cares?
Are you sure you were on the Scott Addict? What you’re describing is the behaviour associated with being on a TT bike when you enter an event that doesn’t allow them. Zwift Steel is the default bike you get put on when that happens.
If you were on the Addict then you’ve encountered a bug.
I haven’t had my bike changed from what I had selected for any of these events.
No, it wasn’t an option at all…just said “Unavailable”. No time left until it would be, as it normally shows.
And this was 31 minutes into the ride, others were using it and there was plenty of time left in the event (Long route option)
I’d take a screenshot and send it to support
Hi!
Great, thanks for letting me know Stephen! ![]()
I do the same. I can pedal at half the power I was doing with the bot, still get a few extra drops and, if I was chatty, say my goodbyes for the day.
I saw a few comments Monday from people saying the same. Random coffee stops not working seems to be a random issue for a small handful of people.
Definitely appears to be random as I had coffee available to drink today on my TdZ ride. I didn’t use it, but it was available.
shrug
Where can I find a list of the tour de Zwift race events in my time zone. I just did a ride thinking it was the race and alas it wasn’t. Info is NOT easy to find. Thanks.
