I am trying to install my thru-axle into my trainer (van rysel d100), but it does not fit through. There is what appears to be a quick release attachment on the drive side which I cannot remove. The thru axle only inserts as far as the photo, with correct spacer attached.
Is there anything I should be doing differently?

That adapter must be removed, there’s no way around it if you want to use a thru-axle
Have you found a way to remove it? I am having the same issue.
I managed to remove it by sticking a 5mm allen key and twisting very hard, not sure if this will help!
