Let the moaning commence …
Montmartre!
Really looking forward to that. Would like them to merge Paris with the France world as part of this, but Montmartre will be a great addition to the Paris map.
THRILLED to hear about Garmin weight sync.
I wish I wasn’t this thrilled but, pleased to see that finally becoming a reality, and hoping others get the ability to sync down the road as well with so many smart devices out there that can push to … say Intervals for example.
Extremely happy to see Paris finally get the expansion we all wanted and it deserved.
Here’s to hoping Innsbruck will get pushed out to LOWI airfield and some of the other mountains as well. Or perhaps actually making use of Bologna.
Huge expansion to the drop shop as well; hope that means UI improvements too! It’s a total nightmare trying to find bikes in my garage! … let me sort them or at least find bikes by brand like the drop shop!
Outdoor “Challenge” ???
Smart move Zwift HQ, genuinely, the system for it is in place (still needs some work so indoor dual recordings aren’t marked as outdoors though).
But I greatly appreciate something as simple as that but perhaps worth chasing to fill up a bar for others.
It would be nice to see that expand; “do an outdoor century” for example.
I saw the mention of levels past 100, but no mention of how Zwift will handle this for people who are already (well) past 100 already. The accelerated leveling used previously was terrible.
I like the accelerated leveling they used and according to ZI its coming back again.
oh no you said it ![]()
4x acceleration based on what Eric wrote in the comments
While much of this looks cool
, I was hoping for more efforts being spent at community racing, e.g. native support for points races, visualization for TTTs (time and position at checkpoints), as well as team group chat (for tactics during races).
This is fine for me since I’m only a couple of levels above 100, so I’ll burn through the 4x banked XP in not too much time. I can see how this could annoy folks who have been well over 100 for some time however.
With any luck, I’ll hit Level 100 in a week or two.
I’ve been tracking my XP at each level up for a while now, and for Level 100, it’s projected to be 827,000 exactly.
All the other levels were not so evenly rounded.
Zwift’s announcement:
Sector splits for TTT (and iTT as well) vs. competitors would be awesome.
One difference in the Zwift Insider vs. Zwift’s announcement is the talk about personal recommendations. Zwift’s announcement had “plan your week”, and “take progress outside” but doesn’t seem to talk about expanded personalized recommendations where in ZI it says “Personalized Recommendation Go Outdoors”.
Personally I think they need to make personalized recommendations work better before they expand them further or talk about them as a non-beta feature, so having a big paragraph about how they are expanding the current personalized recommendations outside as shared via Zwift Insider is not that exciting until they’ve invested a bit more in it. Maybe this is why it’s not one of the main points on the Zwift site?
I was quite surprised to see this is getting expanded when in my opinion it doesn’t even work well in its current form. I haven’t seen any communications about how they have improved it yet. Just yesterday my recommendation said I’ve had consistent activities in the past week when in reality I had taken 4 days off the bike for a trip with family… ![]()
Again no mention on any development for Clubs, like making available for Cubs the complete workout-library, instead of the poor subset.
Dispite some great updates in this TSOZ, this realy makes me sad.
Nice - I’d enjoy that too, Reith bei Seefeld and Kühtai or Timmelsjoch. But doubtful to happen given folks want to shove all climbs into portals.
I’m at 148 by my counting and over 2.2m XP. I’ve seen others who are counting their progress (it’s pretty common) who are far ahead of me even. Previously it has been a choice where you could choose which scheme you wanted. I’ve been parked at level 100 since February 2024.
