I understand EGR and like it, I just wanted to know if there is a way to add resistance during a ERG enabled workout on the fly. Sometimes at the end of a workout I like to give it a really hard effort if I have it in me.

The only way to increase resistance mid-workout is if you choose not use ERG mode as this will let you manually adjust the resistance.
