Technical limitations

How about fixing the “technical limitations?”

While I’d like to credit your account for the missing progress, I won’t be able to do so due to technical limitations. I understand that this isn’t what you were hoping to hear."

Surely all this entails is someone to change some numbers in a database? I expect the “technical limitation” is simply that the CS team doesn’t have a way to do this. I recall being told maybe 4 years or more ago that they couldn’t do it “yet”.

They do have some access to stuff, because someone checked some ride completion data for me a week or two ago, and sent me a screenshot that showed the information.

Maybe they only give CS read access to any data, but it shouldn’t be a huge risk to open up some write access. It wouldn’t be direct access to the data anyway, it would be behind some API with checks and validation.

It’s a long time not to give customer service the tools they need to resolve customer problems though.
