Tacx Vortex maxing at 50W

Hi,

I’m having issues where after a few minutes (usually 2-5 minutes) on zwift my Tacx Vortex will only record a maximum of 40-50 watts. It’s only recently started happening as it used to work fine

It’s the same whether connected via Ant+ or Bluetooth and I’ve checked both the calibration and the firmware on the trainer

Any advice would greatly appreciated

Do you see the same watts on the Tacx app on your phone or on your bike computer?

Yes, I saw the same on my Garmin. I have it logged as a support incident with Tacx too but as their reputation for useful responses is poor I was hoping that someone on here might have faced a similar problem

If the trainer is under warranty your best bet is to stick with Tacx support.
