Would really like it if during races all of the animations for thumbs up, name badges above riders, and achievement banners - were saved until after the race. It’s hard enough to focus on racing. I do not need to see the name banners above people. I do not need to see that I completed a new route in a race that extends longer than the route. I do not need to see the thumbs up blob above a group of riders. Save that stuff for group rides, not races. Racing requires more focus and determination and it would be great if the platform reflected that.

But what about some other people who may wish to see them?
As with nearly everything else Zwift adds to the game/Companion app, there needs to be a way to turn it off if you want.

Probably not worth taking the racing that seriously to be honest. If they had some age and weight verified races then sure it might be worth the effort.

I don’t understand why that is not an automatic requirement when adding a new UI feature. My guess is their older code base is such that they don’t have the expertise to add that to the name placards or other older features.
