Additionally, there should be a button to pause the data acquisition during a ride.
Since the timer stops when you join a pace partner the line of code must exist somewhere. Maybe you could find the person who wrote that and have them copy pasta and fix the timer.

Pressing “A” does not stop the clock.
The closest I’ve seen to a ‘stop’ is the ‘A’ key on the keyboard.
That will bring your avatar to a stop quickly, rather than coasting.
When I’m done riding, I press the ‘A’ key, then Menu, End Ride.
