Steering to make rout deviations

Hey.
Just a thought.
I would love to be able to use my elite rizer (or any other steering device) to make course changes.
Eg. riding along the volcano route, when suddenly I decide to take a detour and hit the climb portal, or maybe head towards the volcano summit.
Then just using my steering device (elite rizer, or other steering device) I turn into the new desired route.

Anyone else like to do this?

That is an option already. You should find it in the settings under “Intersection Control”.
Personally I have it switched off as I didn’t like getting moved to a different route when I was only trying to steer to the side.
