I was in the 21:00 (GMT) event on the 03/11 and at the end of the route i was sprinting with another Zwifter and the end went from 200m back to 0.6km mid sprint, is there a bug with the end of the route?
Also on the decent on the first big climb i seemed to catch the group in front and then they just teleported off to the side.
This sounds like you might have been having connection problems. If you lose connection and regain it then Zwift might re-calculate where you really are on the road. The two things together, especially with the other riders seeming to teleport, makes it sound like that to me.
It could have been a Zwift server glitch, or something at your ISP out of your control. But more likely it was something at your end - try rebooting all your equipment, including your router.
actually I think I saw thew same thing as i was at 300m and used my final powerup and it went to over 600m to go, I did record the route so will have to check it later to see if my mind was playing tricks
I had exactly this problem with the countdown to the finish line in my 0900 GMT Unlocked event. I had the distance countdown go down to quite a low number of feet remaining, then it reset back to 0.6 miles remaining and counted down normally from there.
I rode the first one available on Monday ( 0900 PST ) and saw the same thing at the end of the ride - 0,2 miles left, it changed to counting down feet to go, and then flipped to 0.4 miles left.
The weird thing I saw on this route today (Unlocked event) was I dropped back to a large group and rode the rest of the event with people who showed on riders-nearby as having a 5-10 second time gap to me.
I rode the Stay Puft Pursuit route yesterday from the Unlocked event. The distance remaining jumped for the lap near the end. I caught it on this video:
I did the Unlocked Stage 5 race tonight and didn’t notice that, but did the Stage 5 Long group ride on the next hour and had exactly that issue of strange time gaps. Varied for me between 4 and 7 seconds for people I was alongside, and when catching or being passed not only was the time out, but the position counter changed seconds before it happened en route. Its anyone’s guess what is being reflected in draft benefits when the time is out of whack like this.
Looks like you were pushing hard during that workout ! Not sure if you had your steering device operational but looks like you steered off course about half way through your workout.
