On behalf of my Brother who has a Wattbike proton and registered for his first Tour De Zwift race today. Logged on in time and taken to holding pen with everyone else and all seemed fine. Once count down got to zero able to pedal but not moving just stationary as everyone else shot off. Any ideas what problem may be. Thanks in advance
If he has Watts on the HUD and didn’t move, the most common reason is lack of an active subscription. Check that here: https://www.zwift.com/billing/membership
If Watts are zero then there is some other problem going on either with the trainer or its connection to Zwift.
This is Haziel from Zwift support. I appreciate that you contacted us on the forums related to your brother’s issues with not moving in-game.
Since this is happening on your brother’s setup, it’s difficult to confirm the exact cause from here. As @Paul_Southworth mentioned, it seems to be related to the lack of an active subscription. I will share some other causes:
-
Trainer not paired correctly as both Power Source and Controllable.
-
Bluetooth/ANT+ interference or multiple apps competing for the Wattbike connection.
I will share this article, which will provide you with more causes and possible solutions.
If the issue persists, your brother could contact us. So we can investigate deeper.
