Before race start when sitting in the starting gate have the camera swing to front view when the other groups leave their gate. I am a D category rider and I know this is a small thing but it adds to the race atmosphere the few times the camera has shown the C riders leaving. I feel it would also be an incentive to race harder…fox to the hounds type of thing. (I know it wouldn’t benefit the A riders much but would be fun for the rest of us mere mortals)
Why have separate pens?
I think there should be one pen with riders from all categories in it at the same time. The riders in the pen could be organised by cat with the fast ones at the front. This way everyone rides together, rather than in separate races which is essentially what it is at the moment
